Ok so the new binocs arrived this morning.

One issue I'm having is that when viewing if I move my eyes whilst looking through them I see what looks like black disc shapes moving in the view from either side, depending on eye movement.

Any suggestions what this could be anyone?

Thanks.

First off, welcome to OT. We will need some more information about the binoculars you have purchased.  Also what is your level of experience using binoculars. Not knowing your level of experience I will begin very basic. You should try adjusting the width to fit your eyes.

Need to follow the rules. Just hard to determine which set of rules to follow
Now the rules have changed again.

hi thanks for the welcome.
They are 20x80s.

I've had a pair of 10x50s for years.

I adjusted to fit my eyes but it was still happening.

You are experiencing BLACKOUTS that COULD be the result of improper IPD placement but is, more than likely, caused by improper eye relief placement.

Some states and communities are “locked down;” others are not. This shows as much intelligence, wisdom, and maturity as having a peeing section in a public swimming pool!
