Hi, I would also consider Zeiss Victory PRF T* 8x26 since it is really superior to Leica.
Ranges far longer in all kinds of weather, Leica don´t match that.

But if you are a Leica fan take a look at the CRF 1600 it gives you more than the other older models.

Call Leica.  I had the 1200 and I could read 1300 to 1400 on good targets.  It was excellent for me.
Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

Me too, out to 1300+ yards with a steady hand and good target. I found if during the hottest part the day (in August 95+ degrees), the range it could read decreased.

Ok. Funny story... I cleaned it up and went outside again for the 100th time and it finally read ranges of 1200 plus.....So weird.

After I cleaned it, I took the battery out again and ONLY hand tightened the battery port cap... All works well now....

Thank you, guys....
